I am a Brummie living in Northampton who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft. Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

All caught up again. You have my full admiration for the length of the story so far and the consistently high standard you achieve with each episode. You are on course to have a fully fledged novel. Keep going!

This flows better than the version posted last year (I've just re-read it) so well done on this revision. Your poem captures the essense of this time of year including its religious connotations and associations.

I enjoyed this.

I feel like I need to see Bow-Fiddle Rock now.

That's a charming tale well told with its Hallowe’en trickster-dixstering.

Really enjoyed this.

Happy Halloween!

I like the pervasiveness of magic throughout and how its significance is offset against the importance of human emotions and feelings. Magic isn't all-encompassing and the plot emphasises that through the interaction of your characters. It's a...

"Dark days, wet days, grey days,
downpour-drenching.."

I like the juxtaposition of dark days and bright days. This poem is awash with colour and sound. Fitting for that most wonderful of seasons - autumn!

Lovely stuff,...

That's writing discipline right there...12 months and 36,600 words later. Congratulations on a genuine achievement (I'm not sure what a non-genuine achievement is but it seemed to scan).

You have a definite talent for writing travelogue....
