I am a Brummie living in Northampton. I love to write but get distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought. My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft.
I think that everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .
I have short stories published in a horror anthology by @thealienbuddha and anthology Vol.IV by @LoftPublishing.

"... from cold light of inlit quartz and diamonds' birthing.."
So many beautiful phrases in here. There's an operatic feel to this poem, Di. The final act crocuses unfurling. Spectacular.

"... I rode a hair to where the devil meets me.."
Darkness and foreboding spells out the fate of a witch. Very much a trademark poem and I love the inky blackness of it even if there's an underlying sadness.

I don't think anyone could accuse you of being lazy, Luigi. A sanguine poem that quietly dances with stoicism. I hope everything is well with you. Paul

Yes, you have a point. What was science fiction only a short while ago is now science fact. I do enjoy watching the great writers' predictions come true. Arthur C Clarke, Jules Verne, HG Wells and the like. And then you look at the issues that...
