I can't resist a raven and there's so much poetry in this prose. Am sad that I missed hearing you read it too. This is our Pick of the Day. Do share in the usual places.
Very sad, Niamh, but glad there's light at the end of the tunnel in this story. No matter how dark it gets, there always is even when we can't see it yet. Very lovely to see you back and writing again too.
Yes, I don't think the son of the house was punished at all. And consent is a tricky one because of her status, I would say not, but accounts I've read have made a point of mentioning that this is an unknown. But...
