My hand upon it; I feel its warmth; its rough bark is pliant under my hand. I feel the breeze as the branches above move with the wind. I look up and...
Random thoughts in the evening… Dusk is setting in and the low light of sunset is blanketing the grass with shadows and patches of last light. Day is...
Stephanie sat on the bed in Victoria’s room and wondered what would happen if she fell asleep? Would she wake up back in her own life time? She hoped...
“Oh my lord,” Stephanie cried out, closing her eyes and hoping to wake up from this nightmare. “Prayer does not become you either Victoria. I suggest...

Cute poem, very Funny image- I think many can relate to that too far away 'Throne' and possible charlie chaplin walk trying to get there- nice touch to have the kiddies lauging from a window perch at the elders running by...made me laugh.
Great piece of childhood reminiscence- The stories read by lamplight or candle in the impressionable years were absolutely the best. I myself fell in love with anything magical. I loved that you described the village and the mobile library and...

I love a good strong minded girl story - I was a bit of a tomboy myself in my childhood days - climbing trees and such but I still dont think I would have attempted a cave and certainly never alone.
Some weeds are very pretty - those cats ears can appear like dandelions and they are pretty - Your lawn sounds lovley and that one side nurtured and the other wilting sounds a lot like my lawn here in the heat of the Florida Summer, it is brutal...

I am a pushover for Labradors - my dog Frankie is a black lab and unfortunately he is battling a cancer these days but he is still so full of life and love – and I think he's the smartest animal ever--- I love the personalities you've...
Lovely composition to the Day's Eye - I like that name for Daisy too- You've captured the delicacy of the bloom. The night and day of its existence, opening to the morning sun and sleeping in the evening moonlight.
