This poem reminds me of those days from the past when I used to work on the garden and get ready to collect the harvest of all the produce I'd grown from seed in the spring. I remember one year I grew corn, runner beans, tomatoes, lettuce,...
Poor Vanessa, that Steve was so cocky and made her feel uncomfortable, even Annie wasn't sure about him, no wonder Vanessa was glad to go home. I wonder if they'll meet up again! Spencer seemed keen. Look forward to finding out.
Such a scenario gives me the feeling of scepticism that being able to connect with a dead loved one is unethical. I think it would make moving on so hard to cope with.

I can't believe I nearly missed this lovely poem Rhiannon. I love the hope that your words bring in the last stanza. I'm looking forward to the Autumn and Winter months though, it's nice to rest and prepare for Spring.

if you're worried about drinking tap water, you can always boil it up first, then when it's cooled down bottle it and put in the fridge, that is what I do all the time, not that you should be worried about UK's tap water...well...
