You bring the walk to life

Posted on Sun, 13 Oct 2019

You bring the walk to life for all the senses! And encourage to notice all the little things around, with interest and pleasure. On Saturday we were on the hills (also without rain!) and encountered a little group of cubs and their leaders, the...

Thankyou, Di, very much.

No, I don't remember all of the origins and occasions of my writing. But there are some things that stick a bit, and occasions I have long remembered certain words or phrases coming to complete a line better etc,...

Posted on Mon, 07 Oct 2019

Don't worry about anything, just wondered about the 'peel' in the last line, but I think I see itis probably that enclosing the words/thoughts that they need to escape from, or basically the same as the vowels colouring - which I hadn't thought...

Posted on Sun, 22 Sep 2019

I liked the tumbling hues you've brought in, and the idea of 'linger-lapse of time'. And the 'sudden chilled October’s dawn' of which we have had a few tastes already. Evocative and concentrated. Rhiannon

Those branches do weave out

Posted on Sat, 21 Sep 2019

Those branches do weave out to tangle and trip don't they? But yes, a lovely autumn wreath. We have had an abundant supply of large juicy ones just down a 'twitten' from the end of our little lane, sprouting out from behind the buildings of an...

Posted on Fri, 20 Sep 2019

Fun memories, Jean! Teenage years very trying for girls and boys, and often pushed into 'pairings' before they're ready, when a looser group socialising would be helpful, to get to know each other and how to communicate and be friends and...

Posted on Sun, 15 Sep 2019

I thought the beginning like a painting and visualised you sitting on the doorstep seeing the scene of sky and sea. I wonder if the slight pull of the earth's magnetism guides them on their long migration?

And then turning to watch the...
