What Is Your Instinctive Word?
What is your instinctive word? We all have one or more. It also depends on the situation, such as fear, anger, shock, loneliness and more.
Most people use the word Jesus, or Jesus Christ! Some say, “Oh God!” Or “My God!” These words are used mainly by people who DON’T go to Church. These words I hear often at work or out and about.
And yet, B.C. and A.D. also known as Before Christ and Anno Domini, is in itself amazing. It shows time in history before the time of Jesus on this Earth and after the time of Jesus 33 years later after He had died (and went back to Heaven). Those who didn’t want to accept this correct way of showing Time in history tried to change and stop A.D and B.C. by using BCE and CE, but it never caught on, all it did was get children and adults to ask, “What does BCE and CE mean?” Only to be told, “Before it was B.C. and A.D.
Some things can’t be changed. I saw on Facebook this week, “They want to change Santa to a woman or genderless.” Most who commented on it wanted, “Santa to be left alone.” One comment said, “The sun will always be called the sun and the moon, will always be called the moon.” Some things that have been set in motion cannot be changed, if Mankind changes the names of the sun and the moon in the future, it will still be the sun in the daytime and the moon in the night time.
In the Bible in the book of Romans Chapter one, it states:-
18 But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, evil men who push away the truth from them. 19 For the truth about God is known to them instinctively; [a] God has put this knowledge in their hearts. 20 Since earliest times men have seen the earth and sky and all God made, and have known of his existence and great eternal power. So they will have no excuse when they stand before God at Judgment Day.[b]
21 Yes, they knew about him all right, but they wouldn’t admit it or worship him or even thank him for all his daily care. And after a while they began to think up silly ideas of what God was like and what he wanted them to do. The result was that their foolish minds became dark and confused. 22 Claiming themselves to be wise without God, they became utter fools instead. 23 And then, instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they took wood and stone and made idols for themselves, carving them to look like mere birds and animals and snakes and puny[c] men.
I know what my instinctive word is, and those in my family and those I work with, as I hear their words often. Most people don’t notice what they say. I work with someone who says, “Jesus Christ,” At least 20 times while at work, but for that person, it is not in fear or anger, I think it is instead of, “Oh really!” I wonder what that person would think, if I said, their name instead, 20 times while at work, from today, would they think me odd? Just like I think it is an odd thing for that person to say, “Jesus Christ!” All of the time.
29.12.20A.D. I was told at work, “Not to put A.D. after you write the date,” I wasn’t hurting anyone, but I thought, I can, outside of work, and in my daily diary. And just because they say I have to stop using A.D. with or without their approval A.D. is still there.
