This makes me want to return
Posted on Sun, 25 Feb 2024
This makes me want to return to Cornwall, Jenny, I haven't been back for years, since a very cold Easter with the children. I hadn't heard of this lady, Mary Kelynack. She sounds like an absolute legend. What a life! I bet she slept well at night...

An extremely entertaining

An extremely entertaining read Turlough and very funny in parts. What a character, from what you describe a cheerful, good spirited person despite his tendency to cadge what he wants rather than earn it through conventional means. Semi-ferel...

Magical. Those plants growing, 'in the wrong place', have no idea of their crime.

Sleeping in your car at this
Posted on Sat, 24 Feb 2024
Sleeping in your car at this time of year must be freezing and damp too. I used to give money to homeless but someone said it goes straight into the hands of criminal gangs so I stopped. If only the problem was improving. Our government can't/don...

Very powerful as others have

Very powerful as others have said. The idea of violence perhaps a more uplifting and empowering respite from the grief, especially since your daughter's death was avoidable. I can imagine the twists and turns of anger being straightened,...

This makes me want to go out
Posted on Fri, 16 Feb 2024
This makes me want to go out to the woods and look more closely, tune in and feel. Shimmering dew drops and leaves bursting through. 'There is a freedom from mistakes', how true and what if we didn't have access to that? Just illustrates how...

I've had a few of those
Posted on Tue, 13 Feb 2024
I've had a few of those nights this winter. Hot water bottles, thermal tops, a cat behind my legs that doesn't want to move. You can't beat a hot water bottle, even the smell of them makes me feel warmer. As children we called them 'hottlepottles...
