Vanessa wanting to have an argument in public on her birthday trip sounds mad. I think Spencer is right, he will be grumpy and argumentative if she wants him to be, but I don't think she's really thought that situation out properly, it could...
This is such an evocative write and brought back so many memories of my own. The imagination of Tom was similar to my own, and the fireworks in the back yard had me right there in my own back yard on November 5th.
Your poem was a powerful observation in words of how strong the wind can be, though unseen, its strength is carried in your great rhythm and rhyme Rhiannon.
this part has everything in it, mystery, romance, magic. I like how the story is coming together and the varied cast of characters are slowly discovering the truth...of course with thanks to Willow.
I don't normally read this kind of information. But you make so many valid points that I just had to comment. It sounds like Ted Kaczynski had some notions of where technology is taking us that compare to my feelings.

I love the comical side to this story Paul. The verbal wit and thoughts gave me a smile.

Very much enjoyed your story Harry. You capture the imagination of the the little boy perfectly.
I like the setting too, reminds me of the 1960s.

Oh! Phil, you're keeping the suspense going so well. I wonder! How Josiah and Archibald are doing.
This is another enthralling part to your story that I so enjoyed reading.
