This is such a wonderful creation of a festive poem, that really put me in the mood for the season. Reminds me of a lost Victorian England with all the true meaning behind it, rather than the commerical money making.
I agree the world does need more Johns. I wrote about him from my own experience of being asked if we wanted to sell our 1900s property, which they wanted to knock down for the development of a road leading to our back garden...
Hi Rhiannon, I definitely think you made the right decision avoiding the chaos for such a beautiful scenic stroll. Those are such wonderful photos too.
I can see you enjoyed the day and congrats on the celebration. Was it your birthday? If...

It sounds like nature is getting its own back Jane. I loved reading this story. I've started writing a piece on saving the countryside from development myself, I hope you don't mind.
Thanks for bringing this important subject up in a story...

This is such a charming poem Rhiannon. I could just imagine Paddington bear meeting Winnie- the- Pooh at Paddington station and having this conversation.
Very well written and a tribute to those two lovable characters.

Now there's a turn up for the books. Things are becoming more ominous and intriguing with each part.
