I wanted to jump over the counter and hug all the ticket staff. I wanted to run topless round the departure building's foyer swirling my shirt above my head in celebration whilst singing 'Ole! Ole! Ole! Ole! '

These Victorian trains live on in my heart, they just can't be beaten. Whenever I've had the chance to travel on one, I become like an excited child again. Visiting the train museum up in Yorkshire back in the 1980s was such a pleasure.
