The Fox Hunt

This painting is by Wilmslow Homer (1893), fox frightening crows, crows frightening fox. I especially like that it's a coastal scene and the red berries, and the dark glower of crows.

Gorgeous Di. 'Tying time together'! What a beautiful line.

Have retweeted it because I have a Twitter account even though I have no idea what I am doing! :) Lovely poem. So much promise of Spring. :)

Well, nothing terrible about this in any way! And I like the song additions. It gives an added surreal sensory experience....

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the clouds where you are! It was so gigantic here that I had to suppress a howl at it. Yes, a poor troubled species, we are indeed. Thanks for reading my lunar offering. :)

Funny and surreal and sad.

Funny and surreal and sad. The jigsaw on a bed makes me feel uneasy...it might only be four pieces, but this is not an appropriate surface to do a jigsaw on... :) It reminded me a little of the film The Night of the Hunter in how your story ends...

I liked it the first time around as well as this version. Is the last word different now? That first stanza, in particular, is beautiful. :)

Thank you! It was a bit of an odd take on the IP, and found myself unable to strong-arm a wren into this either. :)
