A valiant effort, Ed. I love leather cloth, cackle stones sea dust double you wig gods, it's rich and the rhythm is poetic. You can argue the toss over what stacks up as poetry for eternity, the piece is inventive and its cryptic elements engage...
I have read and seen the film. It's tricky to get my head round the slang but I think it's great that you have focused on something really quite complex to do and interpret a modern social slant on it. Well done.
This is so film like - the mise-en-scène manages to sequence the internal and external aspects of mental health and addiction with a colourful brevity. It's such a striking piece of work.
A powerful piece, Lev. Some of the dialogue feels expository, perhaps some backstory could reduce the need to give reason for ending it via the incident.Actions rather than words. See what you think.
Some strong description of texture and setting. In places the colloquial voice felt at odds with the rather formal description, perhaps keep an eye on that.

I love this, but feel you repeat the same sounds from verse one to three.Feel it reduces impact. Do say if it is deliberate.
