And to say that, it must be super good.
Absorbing , evocative ,intimate, brilliant, informative. Everybody has said these words. I am having a tough time thinking of another word to express my admiration for this piece.
It's been a long while since I went to a gig. Quite a few years ago I went to Reading with my younger Brother. I felt too old to be there even then. I was surprised though about how many people of my age and perhaps older were there.
I haven't really been away. I look in pretty much every day, but I admit I have not been very active. That's because I have not written very much new work this year. Mostly I've been editing or trying to improve old stuff.
This terrible tragedy and the loss of so many of these beautiful and valuable creatures is a disaster beyond words, however if an Australian heard you call their national treasure a Bear you would probably get a good roasting yourself.
I lived about 15 miles from Savernake forest for ten years. We often used to go there for a wander on a weekend and especially in autumn looking for mushrooms. Blewits were abundant as I recall. Lovely flavour, but also popular with the wildlife...
