What an interesting piece of writing. I had no idea that Isaac Watts wrote hymns and I certainly didn't realise he wrote Joy To The World. You learn something new every day.

Reading this bought a lump to my throat. This must be the hardest time for you and yet you're managing to keep going. Bee sounds like my dad when he had cancer and I had to nurse him. He always kept his sense of humour and wouldn't hear of anyone...
I didn't realise until now that you were Bee's daughter, I can see how poingnant and hard it must have been to write. A thoughtful and caring poem that is so meaningful under the circumstances.
I too agree this is such a rewarding poem that tells a part of history. I also loved the way you showed us the reader how to pronounce 'Crwys'. the Welsh language in its own right is so poetic and I admire the thought you've put into this writing...
I was just going back over some of your older stuff and found this beauty. Early Spring is one of my favourite times of the year, it's like suddenly all of nature is coming alive, you've managed to capture so much of that...
