My stories

"Your Word is Truth"

…‘So not then hoodwinked easily by floods of falsehoods constantly that batter me or slyly squeeze into my thoughts with subtle ease. …

Prison Walls bring hope!*

The walls incarcerated men, confined, blocked out the tortured moans of battered minds and bones; but see! they hold up messages of hope … and hear! those walls have now become a sounding board – tap tap, tap …

Essential Cycle

There’s a crowd of us here where we’re forming a screen shading and cooling the place I have been; soon we will bunch – each group falling …

'Come, Lord Jesus.’

How many scoff, deny, forget – they do not want to know … Every eye will one day see Him, Jesus returning, majestic, reigning: how many will be waiting with faith, upon the earth?

Ever amazed by your skill

Posted on Fri, 26 Feb 2016

Ever amazed by your skill Terry, though I must admit, early on I was hoping for a twist that her dreams were imagination, and maybe an element of humour, and by the end I did want to give her a shake and tell her to look for a future service for...

A delicately drawn picture, Frances. And such a beautiful bird as seen by following your link. Never heard of it, least alone seen it (unless in tropical bird collections maybe, but certainly not in natural surroundings, foraging) I suppose that...

Very sad, and you certainly

Very sad, and you certainly seem to have given her a lot of time, and effort. Her Buddhist ideas don't seem to give her much peace or purpose, nor does she sound as if she has found others of that persuasion to support her.

Oh, do plant a willow tree, Terry, whoever it weeps for!
As usual you paint a full and interesting picture, full of interesting musical rhymes.
I think we can take some encouragement from some of the 'cleanings-up' that have been done...

A picture, somehow of body in post-surgery shock, mixed with peace and relief, and a sense of moving forwards. Good to share. Rhiannon

I liked the title, but it

Posted on Sat, 23 Jan 2016

I liked the title, but it also reminded me of the power/danger of words written down [Make me a beauty; ugly monster; object of hate; Angel of Death.] which, unless 'fed to the flame', can backfire, as proved by the...
