The Unsent Letter

I've been going through old untitled documents on my cloud and found this unsent letter to my next door neighbour whose noisy handy man (her little pet) polluted the air space with a very loud radio each weekend, drowning out the birds and other soothing sounds.

You are a true artist. The way you've painted roses in words is just perfect, you didn't push too hard with the brush but the colours of your thoughts are still bold. A summer's day brought to life.

Lovely Rhiannon, leafy

Posted on Mon, 25 Jun 2018

Lovely Rhiannon, leafy filters, what more could you wish for. There is no better place than the shade to watch nature play out on a hot day. Unfortunately I was working in the sun today and felt quite sick in Reading, it was baking!

Posted on Sat, 16 Jun 2018

I can just imagine blurting those words out because of the sense of duty and expectation from the people around you and then living two lives; the flimsy fake outer one and the real one swelling inside your head constantly. What a horrible...

I love the way you've mashed

Posted on Fri, 09 Mar 2018

I love the way you've mashed up the man-made and mundane with nature where there's always something fresh and beautiful when you look for it. Like one of those mixed media collages with bits of plastic and leaf skeletons, feathers and bottle tops...

You've illustrated the terror

Posted on Fri, 02 Mar 2018

You've illustrated the terror of losing control of your faculties here, like files all stored neatly in your head suddenly scattered in disarray. The frustrating thing is you know it's there but you cannot access it. I've no experience of...
