Adorable, the tempo and beat of this sounded like a nursery rhyme. I loved it and could see it with illustrations on a page in a children's book of poems.
Life and all of its misery, responsibilities, angst and anger fill your intelligent musings candidly and I can commiserate with your need for a writer’s outlet to release all these feelings tumbling over each other and needing to get out.
I love a rainy day when all things are renewed with the drenching. Your poetic descriptions accurately painted a grey, yet still colorful, walk in the rain and I enjoyed walking it with you. I felt the sadness in your words at the memory of lost...

I could not stop reading, each morsel of this story was more tender than the last. The way you wrote of the beauty of her poetry conjured images both amazing and provoking, winter can be warmly cold and artistically beautiful. This was a great...
Thank you airyfairy, it has always stayed with me even though I'd never meet this relative, the ending of his life seemed so harsh for one so young (he'd turned 29 the September before that Christmas Eve) and the year 1944 just evoked so many...
