That's the answer Ed. I had a couple of Christmases in Tenerife and one in Marrakech. The Marrakech one was brilliant because there was absolutely no mention of Christmas at all. 

Any road, whatever you do this year I hope you enjoy it.

I love the idea of the labyrinth of contemplation. Whether we are intrepid or not, this seems like a good place to spend at least part of each day, possibly never finding the way out.

In our house it's always tea time and, it embarrasses me to confess, there are many spots where flies land. We even get the occasional scorpion.

Your poem covers brilliantly the things that this bird brings to our lives. I only wish I could fly away in winter as he does. I love the skylarks' 'not staying here - see you when it's warmer' approach to life.
