I don’t know what’s happened to this week. It’s like a salt and vinegar crisp someone holds under your nose. You turn your head away, you turn back, and it’s gone. Just gone.
I liked this, like the other one, the strange wasted characters. But like the other one I think you need to put some plot and tension in there. And when I say plot you could do worse than look at Brautigan - in sombrero fallout a sombrero falls...
Neither particularly long and in no way arduous. Deep felt and honest but in a general way that shouldn't make you feel you have posted something overly personal. And very excellent. Obviously. Did I say that?
I prefer blench. This poem made me think of the film The Killing of the Sacred Deer which in turn made me think of The Lobster. Which I've now just bought. To watch again.
