My stories

Me and Mickie James Launch

I don’t know what’s happened to this week. It’s like a salt and vinegar crisp someone holds under your nose. You turn your head away, you turn back, and it’s gone. Just gone.

Brilliant!

I finally got the proof copy of ‘Me and Mickie James’ this week.

I'm a book designer! I'm famous!

This week I got my contract from the BBC for ‘Teeth’ .

Have you read Damon Runyon...

Neither particularly long and in no way arduous. Deep felt and honest but in a general way that shouldn't make you feel you have posted something overly personal. And very excellent. Obviously. Did I say that?

I prefer blench. This poem made me think of the film The Killing of the Sacred Deer which in turn made me think of The Lobster. Which I've now just bought. To watch again.
