I prefer blench. This poem

I prefer blench. This poem made me think of the film The Killing of the Sacred Deer which in turn made me think of The Lobster. Which I've now just bought. To watch again.
Enjoyed the poem and the comments. I'm always interested how and when people write. Non-fiction books or articles? You obviously have a connection with birds, nature, and the imprint of history on both.
You could have him going around the whole town then you'd have a novel right there - like that book of micro stories of every passenger on a tube train.
