Today at 3:30pm I’m going to be on Radio 4. Well, not me, but my story Teeth.

I'm on the radio! I'm in the Guardian!

It’s been a good week all round, which is strange as weeks aren’t normally round (I’ve said this before).

The last line made me laugh. I was plagued by a robin during the writing of Flamingo Hotel by a robin. It used to come and tap on the kitchen door. I would scare it away, scare it away. Then it would go to the front door. Tap there.

I particularly liked 'brides of snow and ice' and their wings as 'new moons'. 
 

They are the strangest creatures though aren't they, the evil giraffe of the bird-world.
