Such a sad and courageous story - what a brave little girl and now a very brave woman.  However hard it is, please do keep going with telling your story.  You're in charge of this story now, not that horrible man.

And don't forget that there's mini plastic, or whatever it's called, in bottled water.  It's probably in tap water too, but at least you're not paying extra for it.

Really interesting question.  There's a lot of research going on at the moment, particularly into a compound of cannabis, cannabidiol.  Some researchers say it can reduce or lessen the severity of seizures, particularly where other drugs have not...

The way you use both the words and the flowers as signifiers, and then indicate that it was language that finished the relationship, is very effective.  Memory is preserved in all sorts of vessels, in all sorts of ways.  I enjoyed reading this.
