"I am referring, Archibold, to the unfortunate occasion on which you took it upon yourself to overtake the hearse in the funeral procession, whilst driving the car carrying the immediate relatives of the deceased."
I'm not sure why, but I got a sense of The Wizard Of Oz while reading your story. I love your imagination for originality, it shines through in your writing.
I was so immersed in your story Paul. It makes me wonder about all the missing people that seem to vanish into thin air, especially in places like the Alaskan Triangle, and the Bermuda Triangle.
Another great instalment where nothing ever seems to go to plan for Amber and Lawrence. I also thought the dream sequence of D.S. Stone at the beginning was so funny, but could imagine quite a nightmare for him.
After reading of your exhausting nights on that ward, I consider how lucky I was when I went in for my hip operation. It must also be so annoying to feel you get one problem sorted out, then another shows up and you're back to square one. ...
your information is most helpful, I only wish I had a partner who knows about computers, but sadly he's less knowledgeable than myself and never uses the computer...people must think we live off grid.

Hi Paul,
you capture the endless memories of that tragic event perfectly. I've only ever seen the film with Di Caprio in and found it to be a real tear-jerker.
It's of value that you've written such an expressive poem and kept the...

Some great use of metaphors in this poem Rhiannon, especially;
Like a chrysalis, bud breaks
shoot bursts out like a butterfly.
Such a wonderful image portrayed.
