My stories

Jaspernon The Prince : The Rise of the Cult of the Goddess : Ch.4 : Part 1 Adventures At Court : Section 1

Image:
King Croesian is reminded, by High Priestess Patience, of his first wife, as she too seeks to do good in the world. The King's Cheif Minister becomes closer to the High Priestess. Soon she becomes a focus of the Court's attention. This story was set 1,000 years before the events in 'Life and Times of a Priestess', before the Empire of the Goddess came into existance.

Afterlife

(Another piece on the subject of heaven, although this time it has nothing to do with Islamic State) :- Characters leave our world of life in the...

Charlotte Finds A New Employment : Ch.4 : Getting To Know The Foreign Men - Section 1

Image:
The Western economies have become stagnant and poor. China and other parts of the world are now more prosperous. Charlotte and friends are introduced to adventures in their new work, which create unexpected reactions. This is Section 1 of 2 sections, which somehow didn't get posted up properly around 1/4/19 when Section 2 was posted - so it has been missing from this collection, and is now restored.

Life and Times of a Priestess : Ch.13 : New Friends In Dumis : Part 2 : Communication (Section 2)

Image:
Danella, the Priestess of Pirion, in the land of her people's conquerors, questions and provokes her new friends more closely on the subject of their desires and personal secrets. She finds out more about their real attitudes and feelings and tries to encourage them. This is set in an alternative world, not dissimilar to our own.

Life and Times of a Priestess : Ch.13 : New Friends In Dumis : Part 2 : Communication (Section 1)

Image:
Danella, the Priestess of Pirion, recieves invitations from rich businessman Valery. She regards him as a new friend. She explains to her new friend Jeanette her delicate relationships with General Ravelleon and Mireau. This is a continuing fantasy, the adventures of a Priestess of Pirion among the socialites of Prancir, which is occupying parts of her homeland.

Intereting poem. A lot of issues to think about here, like how are terrorists created, and to what extent are those at the top of the wealth pile and the power pyramid responsible. The abuse of propaganda as in the Nazi period is a relevant...

I did enjoy your piece Jenny, because I too am a Genesis fan, and Hawkwind, and Wishbone Ash, along with many others too, so I was interested to hear your experiences. I have seen all 3 of them in the early eighties, although I was too young to...

This is really very good! I can't help but wonder what would have happened if Neville managed to arrive at his intended time. It would be great to see an alternative version or two where he manages to carry out what he intended, or tries and...

The numbers are frightening

Posted on Thu, 17 Dec 2020

The numbers are frightening and extreme, and yet people become numb to them, until someone we know is affected. You relate the horror of this very effectively.

Is this the sort of story that actually happened at the start of the Troubles? Good story anyway. I like a good ending!
