I am a Brummie living in North Somerset who loves to write but gets distracted with other things. I enjoy horror/fantasy and anything that provokes original thought.

My literary heroes are Clive Barker, Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe and HP Lovecraft.

Everyone should read George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-four .

I have work published by AlienBuddha Press, Loft Books, BlackBough Poems, DarkWinter Literary Magazine and Paragraph Planet.

That's a heartwarming story. I can imagine that becoming a screenplay.

There's a raw honesty to it and a sliding doors pen picture of conflicting worlds.

I guess we are lucky to be born into the one we are in. For the most part....

"...probably whack him with an umbrella to get him to move out of the way. " That line made me laugh :o)

Robot Wars - I *knew* it.

That's a helluva an ending.

You've set the next sequence up so well!

That's a big finish, Jenny. Trees are the best of us.

A wonderful poem, right there!

"...about to emigrate to Australia

Imagine that, SIX WEEKS!

That's an evocative poem and fascinating historical context.

Nicely done, Rhiannon.

Nicely done, Ed. There's a lilting flow to it that draws the reader in.

Part 35 seems like strong progress.

Good luck with the rest of it.

Read both parts so looking forward to more.

You capture the sights, sounds and smells so well and, as ever, your eye for small detail is second to none. There's a latent empathy that you write with that makes stories like this so...
