These trees, with leaves falling like Amber lanterns, sway to the rhythm Of this seasons dictate. Captures my imagination And paints a green canvas With an autumnal bloom.

The darkened hues of autumn Began to roll over the horizon Like the hair of a girl with auburn locks. Gently swaying in the breeze like a belly dancer,

Brush strokes are formed on a blank page And the simplicity takes me back to my childhood days Like the meanderings of a viola Taking the lead All my wandering roads do lead

Once you would serenade me in the dead of night With your piercing sirens and lit up the sky with Your illuminating strobes I would hear your intense heart beat, now just a lull

Corporate Measures

I cradled you in my thoughts And sang to you hushed Sounds of grave songs Till the flush was complete I imagined your daddies eyes Staring at me lovingly Amidst all that blood

I dreamed a dream, cursed are my thoughts.
