I can certainly imagine how annoyed you or anyone would be to have this happen. I do recall reading about a postman who kept royal mail at his home in order to get the money, but had no idea it was still going on, so thank you for the thumbs up...
Thanks for letting me know what a virion is. A scary thought to think that a partical of virus can live outside a host and be spread so easily, like the Corona Virus.
Brilliant poem Penny, there's so much movement as you take the reader through the sights and sounds you're experiencing, it's like a journey into your imagination.
I love how you carve out the image of the swan appearing like a doctor in her white coat, and how it appears windblown and creased...what a great imagination!
The word virions I have never heard of before, I wonder if you could tell me...
I'm so sorry to hear of your situation. I do know how you feel as a similar thing happened to us. Our neighbours huge trees fell into our garden during a bad storm and completely ruined our garden, knocking down fences and...
just found the story of a woman who kills her stepson in order to prevent him eloping with her daughter, then buries his body underneath the juniper tree in their yard.

I can only echo insert's and luigi's comments. I admire the way you're able to weave together your own thoughts and those of these mysterious cave fish.

I like how you describe
bursting flowers' purple froth,
and the female ones soon morph,
becoming autumn's
dangling key bunches.
Very creative.
Enjoyed your poem Rhiannon.

You captured the scene for my own garden birds, It's exactly what I imagine is going on in their world.
Loved this poem.

Hi Rhiannon,
I like the idea of writing a letter to April 2019. It goes to prove you can never tell what's around the corner and how life can change in an instant.
