Posted on Sat, 28 Mar 2020

I can tell a lot of thought has gone into this poem Di. I like how you end on a hopeful note, that moving in another direction might be the answer, leaving behind selfishness and welcoming kindness. We have to go through the dark to reach the...

The primroses in our garden

Posted on Thu, 26 Mar 2020

The primroses in our garden are so beautiful and keep spreading year by year, we didn't even need to buy any plants, they were probably bought on a breeze.

I liked your poem, it really brings Spring to life.

Jenny.

Posted on Sun, 22 Mar 2020

I'm feeling a lot better today Rachel, thank you for asking. French onion soup sounds so tasty, it's making my mouth water just thinking about it.

I think I phrased that remark about my young friend Gina reading my mind wrong. What I...

Hello Di,

Hello Di,

it's so good to hear from you again. I think we've all missed your poetry so much...I know I have.

A poem of sincerity. It must

Posted on Wed, 18 Mar 2020

A poem of sincerity. It must have been such an agonizing time. I admire you for coming through this period and being able to write about it, so that others will know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

The worst part about this

Posted on Wed, 18 Mar 2020

The worst part about this situation is that if you are feeling ill anyway, it makes life even more difficult, especially if you live alone and are frail. I can understand that there must be a lot of tearful people around and it leaves anxiety at...

I'm with you on this poem

Posted on Tue, 17 Mar 2020

I'm with you on this poem Rachel, I suffer terrible anxiety and have a sore throat and ache all over. Thank goodness for abc tales where at least we can communicate without being in close contact.

By the way, my partner's a fisherman and...

Hi Rachel,

Posted on Sun, 15 Mar 2020

Hi Rachel,

I too thought this was read beautifully and heard the sound of Ash Trees most definitely.

We have two Ash trees in our garden, which give the most wonderful shade in summer as the sun glints between the leaves. The ants...

Hi Jane,

I shall never look at our compost heap in quite the same way after reading your original and fascinating poem on this earthy matter.

Jenny.
