Hi Jean,
I don't really know how to lay a poem out properly, I just go with what I'm feeling at the time. I remember when I first came on abc tales not really having a clue about what a poem should look like, as I'd always just written for...
An accurate description of being in bed at night in the silence and darkness and hearing the pounding of your heartbeat. Sometimes if I lay on my side at night I can hear my heart through my pillow, it's a very strange sensation indeed.
What a wonderful story Richard. I was going to ask how Larry found Sheldon, but I noticed you explained in this part. Sheldon was very, very lucky, to think what could have happened if he'd been left out in the wilds for much longer! He was a...
it's funny you should mention the painter, I tried to put brush to canvas the other day as I used to paint a lot and wanted to paint an Autumn scene which was the inspiration for this poem, but I just couldn't seem to get down...
Moments when thoughts and feelings take hold, needing to capture them if only for a poem or a piece of writing, even when they cause anxiety this can be a form of art.
A though provoking poem which captured my imagination.
You've built up the tension brilliantly in this part Richard. Sheldon's situation and how he's feeling really leaves the reader on edge...well! it left me anxious for the boy.
Oh dear! Poor Sheldon. I think getting lost anywhere is a nightmare and very scary, but now he's in big trouble having hurt himself badly and being alone too.

Sheldon's very brave and I'm

Sheldon's very brave and I'm glad he's been taught well by his dad and Larry. His mum will be frantic when she finds out what he's done.
I'm completely absorbed in your story Richard.

I'm glad Sheldon has his mum

I'm glad Sheldon has his mum there to comfort him. It's sad enough when an adult looses someone special, it must be twice as hard for a child.
Hope dad keeps in contact. Well on to next part with anticipation.
