Beautiful poem, love the air in knots and still baskets of light, lovely conjured images of flying things. I also especially liked the spiders repairing. Rachel :)

I like the idea of marmalade, buttered toast and sunlight. I'm sure the willow is speaking in code too - trees talk to each other regularly. It's a pity we can't hear them. The willow as a veil / grieving is a lovely image too. Very nice thoughts...
