I'm with you on enjoying imagining wormholes and other life out there. Earth is so small in the grand scheme of the universe, it makes sense that their should be many planets with life and a need to search the galaxies, maybe even...
your words are very welcoming. Yes I did dedicate myself to finishing this story, however long it took me. It was fun empathizing with the characters and how they would react to each situation that arised.
your poem makes me aware of the awesome genius we see and feel, not only in the heavens, but also the beauty around us, if only we take the time to imagine. Just to envisage those lines:-
I have a horrible feeling things are going from bad to worse, I hope nothing happens to Archibald if they are going to split up, I don't think Archibald could survive on his own.
I think I'd got to know the characters so well, their personalities became an impression engraved on my imagination, it was definitely a slow process that had to be really thought out over time.

to keep today's wrongs a little longer
I found these lines so profound. The complexity of your poem gives...

Being able to share this

Being able to share this story is like a tonic Paul. I'm glad that the rhythm of my writing made it easier to follow.

You did well with this poem

You did well with this poem Rhiannon. Words can either be cutting or soothing, or well meant words can sometimes come out the wrong way.
Great idea for the I.P.

Hi Maxine, I think your big blackbird might be a crow or a rook, they are all in the corvid family and are larger than a blackbird.
It's nice that you feed the wildlife, and I'm glad it gives you so much pleasure to watch the birds....
