Hi Maxine, I think your big blackbird might be a crow or a rook, they are all in the corvid family and are larger than a blackbird.
It's nice that you feed the wildlife, and I'm glad it gives you so much pleasure to watch the birds....

Hi Jane,

Hi Jane,
I so enjoyed this story. I kept thinking of Animal Farm as I read, even though it's got nothing to do with your story.
But you do have the animal characters down so well. Especially those lines: -
The female geese...

Hi Rhiannon,

Hi Rhiannon,
You've shown here how nature will survive long after we're gone. As with that van, I've seen empty buildings on tv with all kinds of vegetation growing through windows and leaving their marks. It's amazing how there will...

Hi Phil, don't ever doubt yourself. The storyline and the characters you've created have been consistently fun to read about.

You describe the drama of the sky, and have captured how quickly it can change with the impressive movement of the clouds.
The photos are eye catching too.

Dear Jean,
reading this part makes me think life can seems so unbelievably cruel, to put you through so much anxiety. You deserve a long break from the worry and pressure.

Hi Paul,
some evocative language described in your poem, of a revered land and its people, that is stunningly beautiful and mysterious. I especially loved stanzas three, four and five.
Thank you for sharing.
Jenny.

Was it real, or did he dream? I like how you leave the reader to make up their own mind as to the ending, combining a deep knowledge of the artist.
Great poem for the I P.
Jenny.
