That is interesting. My father spent quite a bit of time in Burma in the British forces in the war. He wrote a letter to his fiancee on the slow journey back by ship detailing some of his expeiences as he was free to do now that the war was over...

Fascinating view of the port, and of the wheat management. I suppose if I'd thought of it at all I'd have thought of it neatly shrink-wrapped into huge cube bundles at the point of loading. Plastic saved, but removal long and complex! Rhiannon
