The morning Mail talks of disorder
not just abroad but inside our border;
of protests outside an hotel door,
some are against, others are for;
many are holding inciting placards:
insults and fisticuffs are on the card.

traders ask: where are the cops?

why we don't send the villains to prison.
Brcause no longer we have enough jails
for those who injudiciosly go off the rails.

Fewer bodies take the King's shilling
so we form the coalition of the willing
to purchase arms, and foot the billing,
to fight a despot who seems unwilling
to halt the war and stop the killings.

Meanwhile in London there's a march
from Parliament Square to Marble Arch
with contingents of Muslims and Jews
both expressing contrasting views.
Meant to generate mutual solidarity
it might accentuate their disparity.
