hi Rhiannon,

I don't think many conkers become trees. I remember hoardes of boys throwing up sticks to try and make them fall much to the consternation of neighbours. Nice poem : rich !

I loved the description of the imps, with their red torsos, furry legs and cloven hooves. This shadow king seems sinister; I want to know how it all turns out. Fascinating !
