Hi Rhiannon,
Hands - what can one say about hands? I just know that the artists who paint without hands are pretty fantastic, doing marvellous artwork with their mouths or feet. The majority of us though just could not do that !!!
I like both of these, especially the wistful number one, full of magic and in the second comes the inevitable fall. No matter how high we go we are plummeting to earth in no uncertain terms !!!
I love the twixtmas joke. But more seriously I have been reading your first novel 'Gibbous House' and am absolutely enthralled by it. I would recommend it to anyone. It is elegant and erudite and full of an empathy with the past....
