I lost my Mum last month. She was a funny and wise woman, and I wrote this last year after a conversation during which, for once, we really did agree on something.

I bloody well wish I'd done this to mine before I retired.  She's a woman, but I think in her case the ping pong balls are where her heart should be.  Either that or a lump of sulphur.
