Ah...Cedric's character is taking shape and that metaphorical time bomb is ticking. Jeopardy makes a plot work and this sub-plot is humming.

The interactions in the story are credible and deftly done.

Trump is running the US like a business, a corporate entity. He conducts himself as though he is in charge on 'The Apprentice'. It remains to be seen whether diplomacy and statesmanship can be achieved in this way. We'll find out, I guess..
