Dear Kat,

Bless you Turlough,

I think being positive is the only way to go forward. I'm glad it shined through in this poem.

It was also such a pleasure to receive Poem of the Week and such a beautiful surprise, which I'm very grateful for....

Posted on Wed, 13 May 2026

From sea to land we have so many very strange creatures, with some species we're only just discovering.

I was intrigued and found your description in this poem very interesting.

Thank you for sharing Rhiannon.

Thanks for your kind words Di

Thanks for your kind words Di. I think I'm feeling stronger because at least now I know what's wrong, to have that confirmation and know I haven't got to have anymore tests done is such a relief. Just got to hope and keep positive.

Hi Hilary,

Hi Hilary,

my taste buds began to sing just thinking about Brie cheese accompanying an apple, such a great combination, as is your poem which was a treat to read.

Welcome back from me too.

Jenny.

Personally I can't see the attraction of cruises and would rather keep my feet firmly on dry land, though I...

I don't know how you keep

Posted on Thu, 07 May 2026

I don't know how you keep going on your garden Turlough. If it wasn't for my partner, I'd have to pay a gardener to keep the garden tidy. It's so frustrating because I used to love growing flowers and vegetables from seed, but now I've lost all...

Sounds like you've been

Posted on Wed, 06 May 2026

Sounds like you've been working hard in the garden Turlough. We had an imvasive plant in our garden, it had trumpet white flowers, I think they call it a moon flower. It grew so wild and took over everything, but we seem to have it under control...

I've never heard a cuckoo in real life. I think they must be a rare sight.

I love your poem and your account of the encounter. Your words summed up the experience perfectly.

I honestly don't know what's

Posted on Thu, 07 May 2026

I honestly don't know what's real and what's A I any more. Just the idea that it's all becoming part of everyday life is scary in itself.

I wondered where that dream sequence was going and wondered if that black mushroom soup was actually...
