Where Thoughts Take Me

Whispering to where the sun rises,
how I wasn't sleeping so well...with
my imagination spinning a web of
metaphors that flew in on a breeze
through my window.
Wondering! If my future memories
will expand and grow, or will they
disperse like raindrops down my
pane?
Remembering when seeing shooting
stars streak across clear dark sky in
September's passionate heat, you and
I requesting wishes...positive visions.
I'm done with vexation, now washing
away all murky gloom. I've reprimand
adversary of this ailment that inhabits
body, I'm bidding restoration; assuring
healing can be achieved.
Do the answers reside here on earth
below stars and planets? If so expose
my soul, naked before night when all
is quiet and my tears of vulnerability
will be cleansed – so I can prepare for
a bright new future.
Photo is my own.
