Isn't it great looking back

Posted on Tue, 08 Oct 2019

Isn't it great looking back onemorething. Thinking of the excitement of having some pocket money to spend and going from one ride to another. All those fairground guys, who seemed to us young teenagers to be so clever as they took risks when...

Hi Penny,

Hi Penny,

Wiltshire where I live is supposed to be a place for deer, yet I've only ever seen one from a distance once and I've been living here since 1987. I know what you mean about hunting them, which for me is a great shame too. ...

Hi Penny,

Hi Penny,

I'm sure I read this part before, but maybe I imagined it. I love the part about the huge trees parting and lettting the moonlight through to light their way...truely magical.

Hi Richard,

Hi Richard,

I read this like you were painting on canvas and describing what you were seeing. So much of art work is down to colour. I enjoyed your impressions in a poem.

Hi Jean,

what an interesting piece of writing. We don't have that kind of thing in England, but I have seen films about these sorority organisations and they seem pretty harsh if you don't follow their rules. I wouldn't have lasted a day...

Some food for thought in this

Posted on Wed, 09 Oct 2019

Some food for thought in this poem Rhiannon. You got me thinking about when, where and how I came to write a poem or story.I suppose it's a bit like writing a post card to someone and remembering the country or resort, but not absolutely sure...

I love how you bring Ella

Posted on Mon, 07 Oct 2019

I love how you bring Ella Fitzgerald's voice into the poem, that is a wonderful way to describe her voice. Like her voice this poem is so relaxing and unhurried, the words just flow so easily and left me with a calm feeling.

Thank you Di...

Hares live in such a fragile

Posted on Fri, 04 Oct 2019

Hares live in such a fragile different world to us, I think you've incredible insight into these creatures in your poem, showing not only their courage, but also their acceptance for failure.

Jenny.
