Interesting and evocative snapshot of life in Bulgaria. It sounds like it has plenty of character, and perhaps more variety or surprises than places that have been capitalist or western for longer?

Good piece. This is an appropriate way of looking at our response to climate change. Capitalism and the profit motive, and vested interests will surely have slowed down the changes we need to make.

An awful realisation for John, that he is the victim of his wife and her boyfriend! I do hope there is something he can do about it, but its all a bit too late for John? Good story!
