You make a very imortant

Posted on Fri, 13 Jan 2023

You make a very imortant point here Luigi, that the good guys do not always win, even now in the Post 1945 world. It is important that we all realise that!

I did enjoy this 'miniature'

Posted on Thu, 29 Dec 2022

I did enjoy this 'miniature' satire of Brexit, but then it occurs to me that the Christmas economy may well dwarf the so called national economy in size. I once used to believe that the elves probably had it right, but nowadays we find that they...

I enjoyed this realistic

Posted on Tue, 20 Dec 2022

I enjoyed this realistic story. In this all too real Christmas Tale it seems too much damage has been done to the relationship, and Mick's late reversal of attitude seems to come too late to save his marriage! Not all Christmas tales can end well...

A lovely story! It did bring

Posted on Fri, 09 Dec 2022

A lovely story! It did bring a tear to my eyes at the recognition and acceptance of his place in the new family at the end!

We have a little dog who has occasionally escaped from the garden to chase the foxes, which gets me worried...

Posted on Wed, 16 Nov 2022

I enjoyed this poem, as I do feel the issues you describe. I could never be described as a go getter so it seems to relate to me. It is not that I would wish to stop go getters from doing or being what they are or want to be. Perhaps I do feel...

That was a great tribute to

Posted on Mon, 14 Nov 2022

That was a great tribute to Hawkwind and to Nik Turner! Hawkwind was the first 'big' rock concert I ever went to in November 1979 at Sheffield City Hall. Very powerful, but my ears were ringing for a week afterwards! I vowed to put cotton wool in...

I agree! The egg thrower

Posted on Mon, 14 Nov 2022

I agree! The egg thrower should spend a shortish period in prison, and we should pray for the King and all our political leaders too!

I did enjoy this one as well

Posted on Tue, 25 Oct 2022

I did enjoy this one as well Marandina. I did read it  a week or more ago. You are doing very well at keeping up with Tory Party activities, and also managed to paint them in seasonal goulish shades of dark humour! Great satire, as always!
