It's 4 am for me. Usually when the kids wake up. When everyone else is asleep is when the thoughts start creeping in as you so powerfully described. It becomes a cycle which is highlighted so well by your structure and repeated time.

You have some wonderfully crafted lines in here. The reader moves from tiny detail to sweeping overview quite smoothly.

Needs some proof reading in areas such as '...few hours back. So that I cou...' and '...I did not even got the time...

A massive round of applause from me! Well constructed and, as a teacher, I applaud the conceit. We do try to build in life experience but when keeping the school doors open means getting an exam result we are all put through the exam machine...
