Happenings...

What happens when it happens?
When the leaves fall,
What
Do
I
Do?
When she lets go of the dirt,
so she can flirt with the
roof of the heavens?
When the tree quivers as the
last breath of life is departing
from it's dry and weary roots?
Or when it rains and the light
cascades down through the once
again green leaves?
When she daintily smiles at the
silver-footed queen and asks
for one more sunrise?
I need to know what happens
when it happens!

Do I lose some of my leaves too?
