One Good Tern

So you say you've never heard of the Tern family? Well, here is a
brief history.
It all began with Grandpa Dwight and Grandma Lef, the original Terns.
They never agreed on which way to go, but they did manage to give birth
to two sons: Hup and Dowin.
Hup married the lovely Giva from the Schytt family of Dullard,
Arkansas. They had four daughters: Hava, Tayka, Mayka, and Tassa. The
four daughters became notorious in the 1890's in San Francisco as the
unofficial mayors of the Tenderloin district. Mayka was the mouthpiece
of the group, Hava and Tayka ran the hands-on part of the operation,
and although Tassa is reported to have had little to say about the
whole thing, it is believed she was the brains behind the outfit.
Meanwhile, Dowin married the charming though confused Wong of the
famous Whey family of Vancouver. They never accomplished much in their
own right, but they did have one daughter and two sons: Sis, Lan, and
Lek. Sis became an activist for the preservation of wetlands, Lan
invented outdoor garden lighting, and Lek became a famous motivational
speaker (not to be confused with his arch rival Ross Drum).
Sis gave birth to two sons through artificial insemination: Tabel and
Ihn. Tabel is pursuing a career in Las Vegas as a roulette wheel
spinner. Ihn is studying medicine.
Lan married Wong Whey's sister Whytch. They have three sons: Fuhl,
Haff, and Kwatiere.
Lek, as it happens, is homosexual. His partner is Abbott of the
Philadelphia Face family. They always get a laugh at parties joking
about how Lek made an Abbott Face when he came out of the closet. They
are an ideal couple as they both could go either way: Lek Tern and
Abbot Face. or Lek Face and Abbott Tern.
So now you know a little bit about the Tern family.
