Moth

Perhaps there is no closet
only the drum roll
and the opening
of door upon door
the act of moving thresholds
bringing light to another dark room.
A moth caught
porcelain on a windowpane
a translucency
once again framed.

Also on the way to the moon, moth,
born from cocoon on woody basil;
spun circles, skated figures on marble,
half a wing missing, died.

on a Nostalgia diet - I remember being completely......gutted writing it! Tenerife balcony, me and doves Meral and Dafny! Lol - I like the first wee moth poem!
