A trickle of blood.

There was a hollow
where his eyes once sat.
And the windows
to his soul had gone.

Left behind?
Lost? Or stolen?
A fingerprint at the scene
of the crime...

A trickle of blood
Leading to the thief
of the heart.
Causing the soul
to run away.
