a love story

i don't need a second opinion
i quite like mine

i can keep myself amused for hours

and have a wonderful time

laughing at my own jokes
singing my own praises
staring at the sun
muttering my own phrases

some people need god
some people need love
i look in the mirror
and that’s quite enough

maybe i'm silly

maybe that's true

but if i were somebody else

i'd be in love with me too
