She's young, but she's all grown up, her presence is all around
me.
Her belongings still scattered here and there about the house, tucked
away in boxes.
In the attic is some of her infant youth, she smiles through pages of
photo albums
ever growing and maturing.
Her school books from past years show her innocents and a gradual gain
of her knowledge.
Notes she wrote to me kept for sentiment.
Playful days of outgrown toys at an end, yet the teddies she cuddled
still hold her
fading scent.
Memories of days, months, years past held in cupboards and drawers,
ever reminding me of her
and how she has grown.
No longer a child but not yet a woman.
My young lady is a breath of fresh air, a joy, yet, also my
heartache.
My young lady is loving, caring and giving, still the same joy as the
day she came into
my world.
My thoughts go out to her everyday while away, I wonder, does she hear
them?
My kisses good morning and kisses good night are sent with my thoughts,
I hope
she feels them.
She's young but she's all grown up, she lives away from home.
I miss her, I love her, my heart with hers will always stay.
Love You Kelly
